Developer and Founder
Justin is an educator, speaker, developer, and founder of Lunar Collective. Over the last decade of their career, Justin has solved problems for companies and organizations of all sizes. Having the opportunity to mentor and teach others has always been a priority of their career. Currently, Justin lives in Austin, Texas, with their spouse, 3 cats, 2 fish, and 1 horse. Justin enjoys tabletop games, tacos, and sweet iced coffee.
Sarah relocated from Atlanta to Austin in 2012. She spent nearly 10 years working in fine jewelry sales. Shortly after moving to Austin, she joined the tech space in the form of executive assistant and office manager roles. Her favorite parts of being an office coordinator are planning events and making office design selections.
Sarah loves interior design, vintage jewelry, and plants. She enjoys riding her bike, cooking, and laughing. She prefers the short version of whatever story you’re telling.

Quincy began his career in higher education guiding students and families through the recruitment process. He transitioned to the Tech industry because he saw an amazing opportunity to help growing companies enhance their recruitment process through creating a great candidate experience. Quincy has become a diversity advocate in the tech industry challenging companies to have THE conversation while finding ways to grow, mentor, and retain diverse talent. On any given day, you will find Quincy exploring different cities around the world, with the goal of someday living abroad!
Matt "" Rice is a Lead Developer at Lunar Collective.
He graduated from The University of Texas School of Law in 2016, and then immediately made a wise career switch into Web Development. Within the year, he joined the newly-founded Lunar Collective and has worked on promoting our goals of integrity, optimization, and learning. His favorite parts of working with Lunar Collective is seeing clients and his co-workers happy.
In his free time, Matt is always engaging in new hobbies. His current ones include climbing, exercising, playing skeeball, playing music with friends, and winning at Scrabble. He prefers the long version of whatever story you're telling.
Bailey is a born and raised Austinite and UT grad. She has a diverse background that includes a history degree and a stint in the sales world, but after some soul searching she opted for a new direction and enrolled in a web development bootcamp. Bailey began with Lunar Collective in January 2018 as an Apprentice and is now working with the team as Full Stack Developer. At LC she challenges herself to work with a variety of platforms and she loves helping clients bring their ideas to life!
When she’s not behind her computer, Bailey likes to hit the gym and indulge her inner history nerd with mini research projects. She is also an avid traveler -- favorite trips include Taipei, Taiwan, Machu Picchu and the Icelandic countryside.
Drake was born and raised in Austin, Texas. His favorite part about being a software developer is getting to see ideas come to life, and making life easier through the code he writes. He is a jack of all trades, and enjoys learning any new skill he can get his hands on.
When not creating magic behind a computer, he enjoys being outside, either at the lake, or in the mountains.
Joe spent over a decade dedicated to community and people development as a pastor before moving into tech as a software developer. This background paves the way for Joe to develop software empathically and strategically for users while valuing rich communication and collaboration with clients.
As an indoor spin instructor and flag football coach in a lgbtq+ sports league; he also loves leadership, wellness , and learning how to be a better advocate and ally for his friends. On most days you’ll find Joe being active, growing, laughing out loud, and hopefully dancing.
Jen is a developer with a background full of interesting experiences. She has a degree in English literature and philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin. She started out as a writer who got into copywriting/editing and marketing and eventually learned how to code. Jen approaches programming as if it were writing pose that solves problems and inspires interaction.
When she’s not coding, Jen enjoys volunteering for nonprofits and raising money for causes about which she cares deeply. She enjoys working towards social justice, travelling to new places, playing with her dogs, eating too much ice cream and drinking too much coffee.
